About the Department:

Civil Engineering is a versatile branch that deals with the design, construction as well as maintenance of naturally and physically built environments. It is the branch with a lot of diversity from geotechnical sciences to structural engineering, environmental to hydraulics, transportation to hydrology. Civil Engineering Department has been functioning since 2013 as one of the primary Departments of the Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology. Presently The Department of Civil Engineering Offers Certificate Course in Construction Technology and Diploma in Civil Engineering. The course is delivered as a combination of lectures, tutorials, practices including industrial training as well as industrial visits. As per the Vision of The Institute, The Department will provide world class facilities for students, faculties to promote Technical Education through Modular pattern of education system.
