About the Department: The study of computers and its application for the wellbeing of mankind has been inspiring generations after generations. Computer is undoubtedly one of those machines that have earned enormous love all over the world. This love for computers has resulted in a variety of fields of study. The Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering aims to transform the likeness of students for computer science into love for the field through quality education and proper guidance. The department is committed to provide high class teaching-learning and laboratory facilities to its students. The people in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering believes that the culture to transform likeness for study into love for study will build a strong attitude towards problem solving and research work for its students which in turn will give them required strength to meet the future challanges in their respective work field. The Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering started in 2013 with certificate programme in Computer Applications. At present, the department is offering Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering. The Diploma programme is affilitated with West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development(WBSCT&VE&SD) and approved by AICTE.
