IT System and Support Centre

Centre had made necessary installation, configured router, switch, etc to distribute NKN (National Knowledge Network) Internet connectivity for student, Faculty and Non-Teaching staff at our Old campus (TTC Power Grid) from 2013 to 2017. In January, 2018, the NKN connectivity was shifted at Institute Campus, Narayanpur.

Collaboration with Google, GKCIET has made necessary configuration to map Google G-Suite with www.gkciet.ac.in domain to facilitate Online Classroom, Mail Service, Cloud Storage, Calendar for Event Management, Document Sharing and collaboration, online feedback Forms and Video Conference etc. so that GKCIET community may connect round the clock for its development activity. Know More about Google G-Suite.

Recently, IT system’s and Support centre has put its best effort to develop a responsive Institute web site using Bootstrap, CSS, Java Script, jquery and PHP technology.

Deployment and day to day maintenance service also carried out to keep Institute web site up to date.

 Centre would like to thank all the members of Website committee, HoS/HoD and Prof. Parameswara Rao Alapati, Diretor, GKCIET, Malda for their guidance and support to make it a successful in-house project.

For us it is not only a project but it defines Symbol of our Collaborative Work.

Centre provides time to time Computer Troubleshooting and Maintenance Service for the Institute.

The centre has helped Library section to launch National Digital Library service in the Institute. As a result, student, faculty and staffs has access to valuable e-resources.
